Can 803.405a print Vendor Labels?

You can use the zSupplierSearch to get an address list. Use the BAQ
export utility to convert it to a CSV and then import it into word or
Excel for a mail merge.

We do this every year end. I have a simple BAQ to run. I cut and past
into excel and use word mail merge to generate the avery labels.

Rob,

We want to print the vendor names on Avery label paper to we can use
them for file folders. I'm not sure what you mean by process trigger
point.

A BAQ report would work but you need to be more specific about label
purpose/content/process trigger point to offer any detailed advice.

My A/R dept. needs to print labels for all vendors listed in Vantage.
Is there anyway to do this? I can't seem to find the option anywhere.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Dave

I expect you could use a BAQ, output the BAQ (Utilities, Business
Activity Query Export Process) and then bring that into any software
that prints labels...

Or create a Crystal report from the BAQ to print labels...

I am still way back on 5.2, but the way I would do this is use either
ODBC or the Export Utility to download the Vendor list of names to
Excel. Then just use MS Word merge with Excel to make the labels. Word
already has most of the Avery label sizes built in standard so this
would be very simple.

Just create a BAQ Report. When you get to the Crystal report design, choose
Mailing label report from the Crystal Report list of choices. It will ask
you what type of labels you are using.
