Can BPMs create an error when uploading via DMT?

Hi guys,

We have created a stop BPM when certain criteria are met on Part Maintenance to prevent creation of certain parts with certain characteristics.

It seems DMT ignores this stop BPM though and does it regardless. Is there a way to prevent DMT uploading and display an error so the user knows what they have done?

re check your BPM, i have used DMT to update, add, and delete many records in different tables in various BO, BPM’s always get triggered as designed.

Thanks I will do. It does stop as expected in part maintenance though.

check your Epicor/DMT version release documentation, may be there is a bug in your version, i have used 10.1.400.20 and 10.2.400.10 both versions are working fine.
