Can't close a job Vantage 6.1

Thanks for the help, it had to do with the rates and quantities set
ridiculously low.

Yes, I have seen this before. One time, on advice from Epicor, we left it
trying to close all weekend.....and the BI file consumed the disk drive and
corrupted the DB. Fortunately a repair fixed things up.

The cause (for us, your case may be different) was a bad pieces per hour
conversion factor on a production rate. It was backwards and caused the
standard hours to be in the millions....causing some sort of weird virtually
endless loop. I don't recall exactly the solution other than it had
something to do with getting the rate fixed. I think I had posted something
about it so I will look in my group archives when I get a chance.

I've a couple of instance where it would take hours to close a job.
This particular one though just hangs up and all you'll see is greyed
out boxes.
Has anybody experienced anything similiar?

Thanks

Jerry
