Capturing Costs for Frieght

I think it's a misc receipt - In receipt entry after you add the header -
line - 'Add misc receipt' then you enter the job and freight material line
and the amount.

(at least this is how we used to do it before misc materials)

Dumb question maybe, we're on 5.0 ... so what's a miscellaneous freight
receipt?

Hi Teresa, this is how we do it. There is a material line added in the
job, then when we get the charges on the freight, we do a miscellaneous
freight receipt so that the charges go directly to the job smoothly.
Hope this is helpful.

Frances

How do you capture freight costs - ie: UPS, FedEx - for jobs? We ship
direct from jobs. Is this done as a job adjustment - material? Do you
set up a part number?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Teresa

This may sound stupid, but how do you do that and not mess up your
purchasing suggestions.
