HTML
The first interface returns an attractive, feature rich, HTML page and
is
ideal for redisplay on your intranet or Internet website. In addition
to
the shipment status information, links are provided to our imaging
system
for retrieval of delivery receipts or bills of lading. It can be
invoked
from a simple HTML form using the GET method. Here is the link for the
HTML
tracking interface:
http://www.con-way.com/webapp/manifestrpts_p_app/Tracking/TrackingRS.jsp
?PRO
=123456782
Replace "1234567892" with the PRO number of the shipment you wish to
trace.
XML
The XML-based application-to-application interface will return all the
same
shipment status information, but without the HTML display information.
This
interface uses XML over HTTP, receives your input request via a simple
HTTP
POST. It is designed to allow you to integrate this functionality
directly
into your own systems. Please note that this link requires
authentication.
Please visit http://www.con-way.com and click on 'Register Here' to set
up
an account if you do not have one already. You will be able to track by
PRO
or your reference number when using the XML version.

Now perhaps I exaggerated somewhat. Really CCX is the other critical
shipper. I called the shipping manager this morning and he was just
pulling
my leg yesterday. Actually in retrospect, it was kind of funny, he
grabbed
a bunch of junk mail packets and explained these were "a few" of the
carriers we used. I was on autopilot yesterday and didn't even question
why
we would use so many different carriers.
Thanks for your help with Yellow and in advance for any effort to find
CCX.
