People should be able to connect to the progress databases with no
problem because the ports used are not secured but NTML...I believe.

One area that will be of concern is that the directory security will
need to be updated. Because people need access to the Epicor share on
the Vantage server, the users that are allowed access will need to be
updated because they will reference the users in the old domain. If
you're using Microsoft's AD Migration tools and are migrating users from
the old domain to the new domain and are maintaining the SID history,
you should be to run the computer migration tool which will update all
of the ACLs on the directories.

We are in the process of upgrading our infrastructure. In order to do
this, we must change our internal domain name. Does anybody know of any
issues that would occur if we change our Vantage server to a new domain?

Thanks,
Jasper
