I updatred my kinetic from 2022.2.8 to 2022.2.32. Everything update fine on the server and log on client on server to run the update. When I opened my client on my local pc I get an error. I tried reinstalling and get the same error.
any suggestions?
When I got this, I rebooted to unlock whatever file was in use and it usually worked.

I just tried that and I still get the same type of errors.
I did open a ticket with Epicor but was hoping for a faster response here.
should i possibly remove everything on my pc and try from scratch?
No harm in deleting the directory the client is installed in (or at least renaming it) and then reinstalling.

Try using a tool like Process Explorer Process Explorer - Sysinternals | Microsoft Learn
to find out what process exactly is using that dll during update.

that was my next step remove everything and try again clean.
UPDATE: removing everything and reinstalling fixed my issue.
