Dan,
After I set up Outlook on a new PC for a user. (Exchange 5.5 & Outlook
2000)
I login at that user go to Tools > Services.... If there are rules, etc on
the server it will tell you the server and PC have different rules (not sure
of the wording). You need to select that you want to use the server's rules.
Then I just go to Folder List and set the Outlook Bar &/or Folder list how
they usually see it.
This is all dependant on being a server based profile.
Hope this helps.
You might try one of my favorite sites.

Subject: [Vantage] Client swapping on SBS 4.5
I want to move a user to a different Win98 machine and keep his Exchange
profile intact. I discovered that changing the computer name on the new
client to match the machine I am moving off is not enough. Outlook seems to
be getting it settings from the registry setting created for the original
machine name during the client setup. I've check the Microsoft K.B for
renaming client machines put came up empty. Are there shareware utilities
that might work?
Thanks
