Exchange 5.5 help

Thanks Todd. Yesterday using exchange administrator I changed permissions on
the DC clients mailbox and added the mailbox to my client. When I try to
expand the mailbox on my client I get a "Unable to expand the folder. The
set of folders could not be opened" message. Guess I will just delete the
mail box as you suggest. Thanks again, the sun shining (does not happen to
often here in MN) and I'm out of here.

You can delete just the mailbox for a user by going into Exchange
Administrator. This will prevent future email to data collection users/PCs.
Our Data Collection user accounts were setup via User Admin for Domains
rather than the SBS client setup so no email box was automatically created.
I have deleted several inadvertant mailboxes by using Exchange Admin.

You can alo read and delete email in a recipient box by creating a new
profile (on server console or wherever Outlook is installed) and logging in
as that "user" - assuming you know the password which is pretty typical for
a DC user situation.

We are running SBS 4.5 and Outlook 2000. One of my office user sent a
sensitive file to data collection terminal out on the shop floor. I do not
have Outlook installed at the data collection terminal, yet the client shows
up in our global address list. I believe it is added as part of client setup
routine. My resource kit says I should have a recipients folder on the
server? What is the path? Are there folders for each mailbox where I might
find this dead mail? HELP I want to play hooky today but can't go until I
eliminate this mail.
