Crystal - Page One Header

Babbette,
If you wanted to do this for a Page Header, you could...
Make a "Header a", and a "Header b". Put the same fields into both.
Now adjust "Header a" to look like the one for the first page, and make
"Header b" look like the one for the second page. Then go to "Section
Expert".
Select "Header a", check the Suppress button. Click the Forumula button
next to the Suppress button.
Enter "pagenumber>1" and then save the Formula. Do the same for "Header b",
but enter "pagenumber=1" for the formula. "Header a" should only print on
the first page. "Header b" should print on all following pages only.

Is this kind of what you are asking?

How can I set
One section to print on page one only!
Then a different section to print an all following pages?

Have tried:
1) Items in 'Report Header' these print yet the other sections skip to a
new page
no matter how I set this section.

2) Some material in 'Page Header a' Some in 'Page Header b'
tried to set conditional printing on 'page number' yet the field is not
available
in the formula area or the conditional section printing area

----------------------------------------

Ideas appreciated

I do this all the time, exactly how you specified in #2. I have to page
headers, 'a' and 'b'. Then, I right click on the gray part of the section,
and go to 'Format Section'. The 'Section Expert' screen opens. I make sure
the section I want is highlighted on the left and then I click the formula
button next to 'Suppress (No drill-down)' on the right. In the formula
editor, I enter "Pagenumber <> 1" (without the quotes) for the header I want
on all pages EXCEPT page 1 and I enter "Pagenumber = 1" (without the quotes)
for the header I want to print on only page 1. It works fine for me.
