Crystal Sub-report question

If you go to the format screen for the subreport there is a check box
that states Suppress Blank Report or something like that

Subject: [Vantage] Crystal Sub-report question

Does anyone know a way to suppress a sub-report if there are not records
in
it?

I have a report the prints parts, On-Hold, by OnHoldReasonCode, and
would
like to also show any open orders, Quotes, and/or Jobs for each part.
The
only way I can figure out how to do this is by doing a sub-report for
Orders, Quotes, and Jobs. But I don't want it to show the sub-report if
there is not any data.

Thanks,

Norman Hutchins

If you right click on the sub report itself, a menu will appear, select
the sub report tab (I am not sure if the tab is actually labeled sub
report), and there should be an option there to suppress blank sub
reports.
