A CMI PO is created with a part that was marked as required inspection (both at Vendor level and Class level). When the line is entered, the “inspection Required” field is greyed out and it is OFF.
Can CMI parts be received to Inspection?
Thank.

Any chance you found an answer? I can’t find anything out there on this.

HI,
My own conclusion is that Epicor did not make that option available for CMI. If the inspection is critical, I suggest you issue a regular PO at $0 value. Make sure that you receive the goods into a bin that is reserved for that customer.
Hope that helps.
I’m pretty sure that will cause problems, the regular PO will require a standard bin to receive to, even if it’s a 0 dollar part.
Additionally, if you are also purchasing the parts from a normal supplier and seperately the customer ‘sells’ you a some for $0 and they go into a standard bin, two things happen.
Epicor is carefully set up to ensure that customer owned parts will not be mixed with the company’s parts.
Maybe a pop-up in receiving would work to key them to send them for an ‘off the books’ inspection.
