We have a part that in Job Manger shows a demand of 20, but no sales order to justify the demand. It was created today and I can’t find what it is triggering this.
There is nothing in the Part Tran History.
Some suggestions on where to check:
- Do you use Forecast Entry and is there a forecast entered.
- Do you use MPS and is there a record for the part.
- Is it a material on an assembly.
- Did someone change the planning parameters and there is a min on hand, safety stock, etc.
What does Time Phase show?
Have you looked in the Rebuild Processes in System Maintenance? The one that re-calcs the allocations and what-not.
Time Phase did show an Order.
