I will be uploading to egroups an excel spreadsheet I created of the 3.0
data dictionary. (as soon as my ISDN comes back up) This spreadsheet gives
the table name, fieldname, format, flag, and type for all tables in the
dictionary in a format that can be use with your own reporting tools i.e.
access or crystal reports or as Wayne suggested below just as a quick way of
searching. I haven't gotten the field descriptions imported in yet but I am
working on that.
Could I get someone to do me a favor and send me the data for v4.0 so I can
do the same thing. My goal is to make a comparison database between the two
versions.
What I need is someone to go to the Progress Data Dictionary and run a
report on "quick fields" with all tables selected. Print is to a file and
then email it to me. I would surely appreciate it and will post that
spreadsheet as well.
