Thanks for the heads-up. I like the ‘zz’ idea, I think that’s the best we can do. This whole system still doesn’t make sense to me though. What be able to turn them off in one place and they still show up in another. Doesn’t make sense…

I think also putting ‘zz’ in the front of the description drops it to the bottom of the list….then they are only looking at valid reasons.

Not a major bug…just a major PITA…
Whenever we do not want people to use something, we replace the description to “DO NOT USE”.
Not ideal, but It is just a very cheap workaround.

Vantage gurus,
We have disabled several “SCRAP” type and “DMR” type reason codes in our system (under quality/reason code menu). However, these codes STILL show up and can be selected when our shop employees report their production. However, the codes do NOT show up in the Nonconformance or DMR processing modules in Vantage (which is what we hoped and expected). My question is, how do I keep the “disabled” codes from showing up in our shop employes labor entry screen? This sounds like a major bug or maybe I’m just missing something. Thanks for any help in advance…
