E10 ssrs report performance

We are seeing the same thing in our pre-implementation testing environment.  In System Monitor they sit for a bit in “Scheduled” then run fairly fast and Complete but then there is a bit of delay for Acrobat Reader to spin up the preview.  So 4-5 seconds here and there adds up.   The users learning the system are already grousing about the delays.  I don’t think there is a built in delay as much as maybe a System Agent setting for how often it looks for something to run.  There is probably a tradeoff between how often it looks and performance elsewhere.

Subject: [Vantage] E10 ssrs report performance

Hi,

We have some issue with SSRS reports performance. What is your opinion ?

Looks like print preview is taking around 20-30 seconds to see any report.

Do you know if is any delay setting or something like that.

We are on Epicor10 with new hardware for it. 2 servers (database and apps), both win 2012 r2

thanks
