E9 and Setting Up California Sales Tax

I find the new tax setup to be very complicated - especially for California
with all of the different city and county taxes on top of the 7.25 for
state. Setting all of them up would be a major task. Instead, I created tax
code for every possible percentage and named it that as well, e.g 725 =
7.25%, 750= 7.5% up to 8,87 for LA.

The disadvantage is standard reporting will not let you parse out each city
and county, but a custom report will do that for you. Also, when setting up
a new customer, you have to find their rate at the BOE and then choose that
rate for the customer.

I am setting up E9. We have been using Vantage since 1996 and currently on
6.1. I was wondering if someone who is using E9 could share with me how
they setup California sales tax. It is substantially different than 6.1.
