E9 - Anyone Using CRM?

We stuck with ACT ourselves after testing the base Epicor CRM features and found it lacking as well as clunky to use.

We use a lot of attaching emails to contacts to follow a history of communication as well as having proactive alerts coming up for activities.

We looked at Salesforce and the integration until we found how much that integration costs.

We're now likely to make the migration to Saleslogix and use Service Connect to write our own integration of Epicor to Saleslogix for various elements in Epicor.

Good Day Jim:

We are also trying to decide how to do CRM - Epicor CRM module or
SalesForce, or combination.

I saw a Webinar from Alternative, a Epicor Partner, on their
integration of SalesForce to Epicor. Looked very complete.

I had asked the list-server this a while back and mostly people seem
to be using SalesForce and then integrating it with Epicor CRM -- usual
reason was that SF was much better, faster at controlling sales calls
and getting Salesman to use it.

We have not done any research otherwise, so do not have a final
answer.

I am unfamiliar with ACT.
