E9 - Job complete quantity greater than prod quantity

Also, your LaborQty + QtyCompleted > ProdQty

Prod Qty = 10
LaborQty = 9
Qty Completed = 4

13> 10…no no…try again. ☺

No settings exist. If you want to put a hard stop on that you will have to create a BPM

We have found that Epicor Time and Expense entry will accept a quantity larger than the production quantity specified for a job. I understand that some environments may yield more parts than initially expected, but we do not and would like to prevent this from occurring. Is there a setting in Epicor that will alert or prevent this or is it BPM time?

Thanks,
Tim
