Sorry, I just noticed that you are in 6.0, we are on 6.1 and it is there in
the group. I guess that 6.0 doesn't have that. :(

I looked at the group setup and I could not see a "single user box"
anywhere.

I admit I am a total novice when it comes to the engineering workbench.
We've been on V6.0 and I just got a call from
a user who said that only one person can get in to a specific group in
the Engineering workbench. He stated that previous
versions allowed multiple persons to work in the same group. When
person number two tries to access the same group,
a message comes up "ECO is currently being used". Is this the way it is
supposed to work?

checked.

Vantage knows about the problem, but will not fix it on 6.0. In 6.1, this does not occur.

We only use the engineering workbench to build assemblies and don't really track ECO's and such. We created a group for each person using their last name and now everyone can access it at the same time. When too many items are checked out, it makes it easier to know who to go to and crack the whip on for checking things back in. This follows the Theory X for motivation. :-)
