You need to go through your CAM, they are doing a “controlled†release.
They will require a phone call to talk to you, but prior to that they are going to send you a Customization Viewer to install into Epicor, this will count up your BPMs, Customizations, Dashboards, BAQs, Report Styles, BAMS and Configurators and send that information to Epicor in an email. Then they will look at this information to give you estimates on times and costs for the upgrade process during that phone call.
This is one way it was described to a customer I am working with who requested the installation media and their license codes for E10.
“Epicor is implementing a controlled release of Epicor ERP Version 10 to existing customers. Due to the change in Version 10 to a pure Microsoft stack, this will not be a simple push button upgrade for many customers. It is imperative for each customer that we collectively understand the unique risk factors associated with the current live implementation. The process put in place to first evaluate these individual risk factors will both set your project expectations correctly and help ensure that Epicor can manage all upgrade related resources, the combination of which maximizes the likelihood of successful transition.“

Subject: [Vantage] Epicor 10 Install Files
We want to start playing around with Epicor 10 installed in a virtual test environment we’re setting up. Does anybody know how you get your hands on it? Do you have to go through your CAM, or am I just not looking in the right spot on EpicWeb? (I can see the patch downloads, but not a full 10 installation – other than documents)
