We had several reports modified (RDD dataset changes) and on our system we could not make changes to ANY of the existing data definitions. When we would make a change and add a new table to the RDD we would not get the data via the XML, just would not build the data structure at all.
At this point we have 6 – 7 one-offs from Epicor for each of our forms that got modified and they work very good.
As a note, Epicor changed something in the RDD generation of the data (SQL) and we now get the complete XML file within 4-5 seconds of submitting the job even if the RDD consists of 10-18 table joins – very happy with that performance
