I am trying to transfer some of our old BAQ reports in the menu maintenance screen to kinetic apps. My question is how do I create an application in app studio from the BAQ report designer? I recall being able to generate Ice.UIRpt.BAQname.dll files from BAQ report designer, but in the kinetic view it doesn’t seem to be working. Maybe I am doing something wrong but if anyone has some tips, I would appreciate it!
Use the Kinetic BAQ Report Designer click the “drunk snowman” aka … menu and pick “Preview Application” which will generate the Kinetic UI version of the report UI.
Oh, so I got that far, but then how do I save this app in app studio? I clicked generate and generate for design but both of those just printed the report.
Once you Preview Application you should be able to find it in Application Studio (refresh the tab if it’s already open) as Ice.UIRpt.(ReportID). It’s totally not intuitive and should be named “Generate Application” but
