This full time role is located Albany, NY (the client will fund a relocation for the right person). My client (legacy heavy equipment manufacturer) seeks fulltime EPICOR 9 SME role in Albany, NY (up to 115K/yr base + variable comp…..up to 130-140 “all in” expected first year) – but, #1 on his list is Crystal Reports, he may allow for someone to ramp up on Epicor 9 while working there – so this person may not have to have E9 expertise walking in…..great for someone who wants to step up/ramp up to E9:
“Epicor SME/ Manager”
Reporting to the IT Director, with broad scope for independent initiative and judgment, the Epicor SME/Manager will take a leading role in managing the organizations enterprise applications and back end database systems.
•Planning, designing, developing, and implementing efficient business, financial, and operational systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes with Epicor
•Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards
•Responsible for data analysis, clean-up, integration, conversion and validation
•Participate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications
•Create process models, specifications, and diagrams to provide direction to project teams
•Manage enterprise applications including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Planning (CRM), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
•Manage all single instance, clustered, and replicated SQL database installations
•Work closely with business units to develop reports, dashboards, and customizations to enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, & PLM)
•Maintain existing and develop new workflows to import/export data and integrate multiple separate database systems and applications
•Create and update technical and functional documentation with training guidelines
•Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, PLM, etc.)
•Knowledge of software/system development lifecycle
•Understanding of data warehousing and analytics lifecycle
•Strong knowledge of SQL, Crystal Reports and/or SSRS
•Working knowledge of .NET & C#
•Experience creating dashboards, BAQs, BAMs & BPMs
•Experience implementing, using and supporting enterprise applications in a service and/or manufacturing industry a plus
