Error in Report Builder trying to preview

Using Report Builder 3.0 a get the following error. Testing the Data connection is successful. The reports work within Epicor.

An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
Query execution failed for dataset ‘CCTag’. (rsErrorExecutingCommand)
Invalid object name ‘CCTag_ 0f6ae14db38542ed9982caa8b518e7de
I receive the same error for all reports except the Dataset name and object name are different for each report.

This report was Cycle Count Tags.

I have not changed anything on the server except to upgrade Epicor from 10.1.600.11 to 10.1.600.17. But I doubt that has anything to do with it. It’s heard to get Epicor to help because they see it as a Windows problem.

  1. Print preview this Cycle Count Tags report again, and make sure to set your archive period to at least one day before you submit it for print preview (it’s a drop down on every print screen).
  2. Open the report in Report Builder, and use the FileName/Report GUID from the archived print preview attempt.
  3. Do you still have a problem?

Thanks - that did the trick. Too bad Epicor support could not answer that. I have never had to do that before. Do I now have to do that on every report?
