Exporting to Excel w/ Vantage 6.10

You can use Report Builder to create a delimited file and them import it
to excel as one way.

Another way is with the Buisness Activity Query.

I've actually been taking data strings from Report Builder or Progress
Procedures and creating excel files from the data and also formatting
the cells, create functions, sums, totals, etc. gives me a functional
spreadsheet rather than just imported data filling cells.

This capability is available in Epicor 9.05. Unfortunately I'm not using
that version anymore.

In Vantage 6.10 how to I export data into Excel?

It's not an ideal solution, but if you preview your report to your screen, you can find the file (RPTxxxxx) that it creates in your local working directory (mfgwrk61 or similiar), then open Excel, open that file name and parse out as needed. It works pretty well unless you have multiple lines in your records.
Or if it is a Report Builder Report, you can export it from there.

You can use Crystal Reports Distribution and then export to excel through
the Crystal really quick. That's what we use all the time.
