I keep getting suggestions to buy a part that I do not want to order. I have a purchased part that is stock. It has a minimum of 0 and min on hand of 0. We have 11 on hand, 14 on order and demand for 16 - leaving us with 9 pieces after all demand. I am getting 3 suggestions for 1 individual piece each to buy to stock. Why?
These aren’t caused by increase or decrease suggestions - we aren’t getting those. I have the dates and quantities locked. I also tried without the dates and quantities on the POs locked - didnt make a difference. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.
Since your PO to satisfy is dated so far out, I am worried that your Days of Supply = 0 might be keeping it from getting counted. I’d try using a days of supply that is further out than that PO (90 days?) and see if it gets rid of your extraneous suggestions.
Also, I would ensure your MRP run has dynamic checked on Scheduled Start Date.
