In Epicor9 you can get it to work with a textbox but not an ultracombo

I have added an ultra combo box to my form which references a UD table. On standard combo boxes already on the form, you can right click to get "Open With...". I would like that behavior on my custom ultra combo. Can that be done? Easily?

I believe context menu has more to do with what field in a particular
table than what type of control you are using. I have tried a number of
different context menu's and have had less success when I try using a
field that isn't a key field in a table (i.e. partnum, jobnum etc..).
Though I have not tried Key1 in a UD table to date. I am fairly
confident that the control being a combo box should have little to do
with it, it will be more to whether or not Vantage will allow you to use
a UD table. It would not for example work if you tried the ShortChar01
off the JobOper table, but it would the JobNum from the JobOper...

Ill hazard a bet that If it isn't a key field you probably won't get it
to work. Your combo box won't be your constraint. Try the Key1 off
your UD table, im curious to see if it would work. I just haven't tried
a Key1 UD opens with before. Which UD table it is wont matter. Youll
see similar behavior elsewhere in Vantage like this (eligible BAM
tables, Auto printing, Advanced Searches), they are somewhat restricted.

There is a work around I came up with for this. If you can demonstrate
some relationship to a key field along your process you can tag from
that field. I was attempting that ShortChar01 on the JobOper table but
in the end still achieved what I was after by just using the JobNum
field instead and structuring my BAQ accordingly. Perhaps thinking
along these lines (if applicable in your case) might help.
