HELP - [off topic] Windows XP and Windows NT Domain

Rick,

I'm doing folder redirection on the My Documents Folders. Several of the
workstations are not allowing me to sync up to be able to work off-line too.
I just upgraded the ones in question from W98 & NT4 to W2K (not fresh
installs). I was pretty sure it's a domain security issue, but hadn't
figured it out.

I thought if it worked for you, it might tighten my domain connections too.
So far one of the three I tried so far worked. I'll try it on the rest and
see where that goes. I'll take any form of progress that I can get right
now. That was a great tip. Thanks Rick.

Gary

Nothing happened to them, the PC just would NOT connect to the domain. I
tried many things to no avail. Then for some reason I disonnected the map
drives and it worked perfectly. Remapped and good to go.

What happened with the mapped drives?

I set one up the other week. There is a link in the network settings
where
it will kick in a wizard to setup the network. I ended up having to
make
the XP Pro a member of the login domain so it could browse the entire
network. When I had it setup as a member of a workgroup it would only
see
that particular workgroup.
