How can I find out what parts were created by a configurator?

Hi all,

Is there a way to find out what parts were created by a configurator? I have been asked to change the Days of Supply on all configured stock parts, but can’t think of an easy way to identify them. Also, there are several versions of this configurator, so I’ll need to do this process for each version.

Any help would be great, thanks!

Richard

Have you tried comparing Base Part Number to PartNum?

Ah good idea! I’ll try a BAQ with that, thanks.

Hi Mark, unfortunately the Base Part column is blank, even for parts that were definitely configured, the part on the sales line even has the ‘configure’ button still available!

I think you could use a modified version of the BAQ given in this thread: Does updating a configurator break existing configurations? - #2 by ERPSysAdmin - ERP 10 - Epicor User Help Forum

Hi all, thanks for your replies, I think I’ve managed it now. I ended up comparing the part description with the Copart description.

I used Part, CoPart and a copy of Part linked to Copart, then created a calculated field that just checked if the descriptions were different.
