How to "un-report" job quantity

Hi Calvin,

You should be able to do the Job Receipt to Inventory, and put a
negative quantity (at least you can in 6.1)

I looked at doing that, but that looked like that would effect the
components of the job, not the finished stocked assembly.

The Production Detail report shows the proper issue qty's of the
components. It's just that the Received to Stock qty is wrong.

This makes the QOH incorrect. By the way, the Part Trans Hist shows
two MFG-STK transactions. The first created by the Auto Receive
function when the labor was reported, and the second from my manual
Job Receipt to Inventory. The unit cos on the first trans is
correct, while the unit cost for the second trans is zero.

I'm guessing a Misc Issue will be required, followed by a Journal
Entry to clean up the mfg variances and inventory adjustments.

A job was setup for 'Auto Receive' when completed, but I accidentitly
performed a 'Job Receipt to Inventory' too.

How do I reverse the 'Job Receipt to Inventory' step?

Thanks,

Calvin
Use can use the return material program under Inventory Management
