Anyone else notice today the login screen was different for ideas? I had to reset my password to even get in and now all the ideas I have submitted say System Manager. @timshuwy

Well… starting today, we are tweaking the process to have you use a single sign-on using IdP just like other epicor products and sites (EpicWeb, EpicCare and now Epicor Ideas), eliminating the need to log in over and over again…
Note that your Epicor system does not need to be using IdP in order to have an IdP account. but if you dont have one already, you will neeed to self register and sign up using your account number (site id).

Simplify Epicor Ideas Logins with Single Sign-on
We are pleased to announce the availability of our single sign-on service, Epicor Identity (IdP) to Epicor Ideas, your crowdsourcing workspace for product enhancement requests.
No more juggling multiple passwords – with a single set of credentials (an email and one password), you can quickly sign into Epicor Ideas, EpicCare, and EpicWeb. And there is no need to keep entering your credentials either. Single sign-on (SSO) with Epicor Identity automatically authenticates you within the same browser session.
What You Need to Know
Beginning today, if you have an existing Epicor Identity (IdP) account, access Epicor Ideas portals using your email and your IdP password.
If you would like to create an IdP account to simplify your log in, visit the IdP page and click on Register as a new user. Visit the IdP Resources section below if you need assistance.
Epicor Ideas History and Access
Existing Epicor Ideas votes and history will transfer. However, if you use different email addresses between EpicCare and Epicor Ideas, your history will not transfer. Submit a case in EpicCare to request updating to your preferred email address in EpicCare or Epicor Ideas.
You will have Kinetic Ideas portal access to Epicor products which include: Advanced MES, Automation Studio, Epicor Commerce, Epicor Connected Process Control (CPC), Epicor Data Analytics (EDA), Epicor EDI, Epicor ECM (Enterprise Content Management), Epicor Financial Planning & Analysis (EFPA), Epicor Learning, Epicor Virtual Agent (EVA), Grow, Senior Living, Quick Ship, and User Experience.

@tkoch I looked into this, and i was told that now, Epicor Ideas is using your name from EpiCare… it appears that while you have an email address in Epicare, your “name” is “System Manager” which is why it was showing that on Epicor Ideas. The Administrator for Epicor Ideas also has the ability to adjust the name that was imported, show she has updated your name in the Ideas portal, but you should / could change your name in the EpiCare system as well.
It’s not allowing us to login today either.
