Inactive Vantage Session in Vantage 8.03

Randy,

Have you ever noticed this message when there are no open sessions? We get this message almost every Monday morning and when I check for open sessions the list is empty. Our IT department has been working with Epicor for months to resolve this issue. They still don't know what is causing it. We were getting this with Vista 8.03 and since moving to E9 we still get it.

I have seen discussion on Vantage session in V6 that are inactive but still up and running. In V8.03 is there an inactive timer for full Vantage sessions and/or Data Collection sessions that are up and running but not being used?

One of our biggest problem are user on our Citrix Presentation 4.5 server that has a session open with a full Vantage session running and they don't exit Vantage and log out of Citrix when they leave for the day and we don't have enough license (Vantage and Citrix) to just hand out to all users on all three shifts.

I would like to be able after "x" number of hours of inactive in Vantage to log them out and then log off the Citrix session if possible or at least log out the Vantage session.

We have been getting more calls in the morning from our remote plant saying they are getting the "max. number of users" message.

I also know that MS Terminal Server services has an "inactive timer", but I am not sure about Citrix and where it is located. Does anybody know if Citrix has an "inactive timer" setting?

Thanks,
