I have one user who is getting the error below when he attempts to log in.
The splash screen loads and this error pops up before getting to the main menu.
I deleted all personalizations and delete his cache folder and he still gets it.
We are using Remote Desktop for the E9 client so all other users are using the same client folder and no one else is getting this error.
Anyone else encounter this before? Any solutions?
Support hasn’t been able to help yet.
Joe,
I had similar issues on E10.1.400 and I honestly never exactly traced the source of the issue down… it just went away one day. Please share if you come across the culprit!
These sound like perfect reasons, especially where it happens during login and I never get to the main menu.
Any idea where I can find these items in the database for me to review or possibly delete?

On the workstation of the user having the problem, log in as a different user and then go to Options->Change User and then log in as the user with the problem (don’t worry about errors at this point) and then go to Options->Reset Layouts To Base, log out, and then see if that user can log in.
If that is unsuccessful, login as a Security Manager on another PC. Go to System Management->Utilities->Personalization Purge. Search for the affected user’s name and choose the listst of all items to appear. Delete all the items from the list for the specific user and then try to login again as the problem user. It should be successful. But if it errors again, go back to Personalization Purge; there may be two more listed. Delete those. Login as the problem user again; you should not receive the error message.
Have also seen this error when the user didn’t have access to any menus in menu maintenance.
NOTE: The error received may also read: Index was out of the bounds of the array.
Also verify the Dashboards if any Pinned to the Users Client Main Screen
