Has anyone found a way to create inspection plan inputs/attributes that only need to be entered once per test, rather than once per sample? Almost like header vs. detail levels for POs, SOs, etc.
Example:
We receive five parts that need to go through inspection. There are three inputs/attributes required for the inspection test setup that only need to be inputted once before starting the test, and one input/attribute that needs to be measured for all five samples that are tested.
I haven’t yet found an alternative to having the user re-enter the “header” values for every sample, which could get tedious.
There were a few options in Configurator Designer that looked promising (Publish to Doc, Local Variables, Global Input Variables) but it seems like their use was reserved for product configurations since they couldn’t be used with inspection plan configurations.
