Kinetic is very slow for us right now, and I was wondering if any other Cloud users are seeing the same thing. It is taking very long for landing pages to load. I am clicking the + for new quote and nothing is happening. Many users are getting a Long running process message
I ran a report and it printed, what would you like me to test?
I think reports are ok. it is overall system performance. just navigating is taking much longer than usual. I do have a ticket in with support.
Okay, I’ll ask if the GM has noticed anything. Good to hear from you Andy
For example, i just refreshed the browser for the sales order entry page. It took 20 seconds for it to render and another 55 seconds for the grid of the landing page to populate with default number of rows (i think its around 400).
I just asked, I’ll let you know if I hear anything back.
Not seeing any slowdown from here - working through multiple sales order edits with no delay.
That being said - sometimes it ends up being a specific cluster or “subset of customers” that experience issues…so maybe we’re just lucky today.
I just popped into order tracker and it was not 20 seconds, but this company is not large like yours.
Side comment, for your quoting are you using an integration to be able to go through layouts/yields? I’m sure in the printing industry the need to figure out how to quote a job depends on the printer you’re using, material, etc… are you using a third-party tool to quote all that?
we use CPQ and within CPQ we have calculations to determine roll material or sheet usage. We have thought about nesting software, but haven’t done it yet. As integrations are becoming easier and easier, i think we will likely add some nesting software to our flow at some point in the next couple years.
yeah it might just be a smaller cluster, which is why i wanted to ask the Epiusers community.
Guaranteed you’ll get a faster response here…hopefully things clear up for you quickly.
our GM said no slowness has been noted, he’s only been in for a couple reasons so far today though.
We had an issue like that yesterday afternoon for an hour or so. Any update in every app was taking forever. Correlation errors pointing to SQL timeouts and getting the long running process message.
It cleared up eventually. Support found nothing the logs but blamed one of our dashboard BAQs as usual. Even though it runs mutiple times a day with no issues.
We have been seeing general slowness since yesterday afternoon. Opened a ticket and got a response “We experienced a delay in the transaction processing due to some blocking activity, and it has been cleared.” Asked for clarification what that means but haven’t heard back. We are still seeing general slowness – some of our REST integrations timed out overnight and are taking much longer to process today.
We had a slowdown issue a few hours ago as well, here was the
response to our ticket:
The primary SQL Server experienced elevated CPU utilization, resulting in CPU resource contention and degraded database performance. This led to increased query execution time, higher response latency, and overall application slowness.
We performed the required corrective actions to reduce CPU pressure and stabilize the database workload on the primary SQL instance. Post-remediation monitoring confirms that CPU utilization has returned to normal operating thresholds, and the database server is currently performing within the expected baseline.
At this time, the issue appears to be resolved. We will continue to monitor SQL Server health metrics, including CPU utilization, query performance, wait statistics, and overall system resource usage, to ensure continued stability.
We’ve been having issues since yesterday morning on the Government Cloud. We have a support ticket in and they said the issue was resolved yesterday afternoon but our performance has gotten worse since they “fixed it”. We haven’t been able to get an update since.
Gabe, i got almost the same response in my ticket. Things are running better now, too.
Same here in Gov Cloud. Have an outstanding ticket ![]()
Gov Cloud as well and also have had issues since yesterday. Ticket submitted yesterday, no information beyond a generic “appropriate parties are engaged to determine the root cause and restore functionality”.
We seem to be having the same intense slowness as well. Notably in Live, but not in our Third. Third seems to be running just fine.
