Items not posting during Capture COS/WIP

Epicor sent over a fix that we have to now run to make sure that there are not any orphan records left out to post. It seems there is some sort of problem in 403c.

On the last day of the month for May we ran the capture, there were not any date exceptions or any errors. Now we are running a capture again & it is showing items from May with system date & transaction Date in May. Some are MFG-CUS & some are STK-MTL.

Any idea what could make this happen.
What version are you on? Are you using Sales Kits by any chance?

When this happened to us I found out that my AP girl was predating
invoices...meaning if it were June, she would put a date in for may if
that was what was on the invoice....check your data entry people to see
if this is what is happening...

This usually occurs when additional job issues are done after the period for jobs that have not been marked complete. You may also see things such as inventory\quantity adjustments which may have been made in the prior period

If you start to post in June and there are May items out there unposted,
the system will bring them up and give you a chance to change them. On
those lines, you can see the transaction date, as well as the system
date when the transactions were entered and you can see the login id of
the person who did those transactions. So you can then ask that person
what transaction they did to generate it in the prior month. Sometimes
it's things like -un-receiving an item, or backdating a receipt or job
closing transaction. But the screen should give you enough to track
down the culprit.
