Position Summary
Reporting to the ERP Project Manager, the BA/Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for
analyzing, testing, tracking and issue reporting of our corporate ERP system (Epicor). This
position will collaborate with other departments to ensure that development and reporting
projects have been tested thoroughly and meet the required deliverables and quality standards.
Additionally, this position is responsible for executing test plans and documenting discrepancies
using a variety of testing tools, develop and execute test scripts & test cases as well as
document detailed expected results. Verify all test results to ensure the system is performing
functions as described in business requirements and design documents. Write detailed and
accurate problem reports/defects where applicable…
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze and review product and functional requirements and implement comprehensive
test strategy and test plans and test cases.
• Collaborating with project managers, business analysts, and business partners to
understand and analyze business requirements for projects.
• Work with development team members to develop and revise testing strategies and test
cases.
• Interact with Product Management teams to ensure proper test coverage and high
quality of the projects delivered to production.
• Perform test execution, test analysis and all phases of testing, including functional,
regression, performance, usability, integration, acceptance, etc.
• Troubleshoot and analyze application issues to root cause where possible.
• Report bugs into the bug tracking system with clear and detailed steps to reproduce.
• Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development
team.
• Proactively participate in maintaining QA team standards and best practices.
• Participate in deployments to production as needed.
• Acts as an advocate for the end user experience.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Math or any
equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training
• 6+ years’ experience in the field of Quality Assurance with strong QA fundamentals,
experience in functional testing, regression testing and exploratory testing
• Experience writing, managing, and executing end to end test plans and test cases
• Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies: RESTful APIs
• Experience in performing exploratory data analysis, data quality testing along with strong
database knowledge (e.g., Sybase, SQL Server) and SQL queries
• Proficiency in writing thorough tests that cover edge cases with appropriate ROI for
velocity and quality
• Able to follow established processes and / or create a new process if necessary.
• Self-starter who learns quickly and takes immediate ownership of projects with little
supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow a project schedule, juggling tasks and priorities to meet rapidly changing
deadlines
• Ability to work and deliver in an agile environment supporting multiple teams
• Experience working with Epicor (ERP) an advantage

The Company: Universal Woods
Universal Woods is a manufacturer of coated, hard substrates used in graphics and mezzanine
decking applications. The Company serves two primary segments: (i) Sublimation, for which it
supplies coated aluminum, wood, and other substrates that are to apply images through
sublimation printing; and (ii) Cornerstone Wood Products (“CSWP”), for which it manufactures
coated, engineered wood for warehouse mezzanine decking.
Sublimation is a form of printing that transfers inks into a coated surface, resulting in vibrant
colors, long life, and superior durability compared to traditional printing methods. Universal
Woods sells two primary brands of sublimation substrates, Unisub and ChromaLuxe. Unisub is
sold primarily in a wide variety of shapes, used in the personalized photo gift market, such as
ornaments, coasters, key chains, etc. ChromaLuxe primarily sells coated aluminum and
hardboard for use for printing premium fine art and personal photos.
