JOB TITLE/ DESIGNATION: ERP Administrator & BI Analyst

ERP System Administration and Improvement

  • Full ownership of the ERP database and all company business process flows to ensure reliable system performance.
  • Work with department heads to design, develop, and maintain business procedures, reports, forms for automated workflows.
  • Assisting ERP users with training, process flows, forms, and reports.
  • Work with ERP & DocStar users to manage and determine appropriate system setup & configuration changes.
  • Administer ERP & DocStar security to assign appropriate system access to users at different levels.
  • Participate in internal projects and meetings to gather user requirements for design, configuration, testing of new requirements.

Business Intelligence

  • Designing, developing, maintaining, and improving high-quality business intelligence solutions
  • Acting as technical lead on all application data management and BI application development
  • Delivering high quality, moderate to complex reporting, data & analytics to business units across the organization in support of a wide range of initiatives including business intelligence, regulatory reporting, organizational strategic initiatives, performance improvement activities and compliance
  • Creating new report templates, dashboard, scorecards, and data management solutions across the organization
  • Providing support assistance to field staff on systems and reports
  • Making recommendations to management on process and performance improvements
  • Providing expertise for new technical solutions as well as continuous improvements, upgrades, and fixes to systems already in operation which may require at times after-hours support for applications, integration components, middleware, and interfaces
  • Estimating the cost, timeline, and resource requirements for new application solutions
  • Translating business needs to technical specifications. Maintain technical documentation for all internal applications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University or college graduate in Computer Science or an equivalent appropriate degree/diploma.
  • Information Technology Master’s degree, or an equivalent appropriate degree
  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft based technologies.
  • Virtual Server Experience (VM Ware)
  • Report building experience in SSRS Reporting is required.
  • Solid background in one or more of the following databases: MS SQL database, MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, TSQL, PL-SQL, SSAS, SSIS.
  • Reporting services experience (Power BI)
  • Knowledge in core integration technologies: SSIS, REST API’s, Message Queue, Service Bus, API Gateway’s, XML, YAML, JSON.
  • Experience on C#, Asynchronous programming patterns, multi-threaded applications, .Net, Web Services.
  • Knowledge of Visual Studio 2017 or similar.
  • Experience with ERP platforms (Epicor, SAP, Syspro, NetSuite).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills and an ability to achieve issue resolution.
  • Database administration, installation, and configuration experience
  • Solid application development skills and software development lifecycle knowledge.

Second, your qualifications and responsibilities require someone to wear multiple hats. I am going to assume its a 320,000$/yr position, correct me if wrong.

So detailed job description , is the job to be working alone (do it all) or joining a team with similiar responsibilities (share tasks)

Guarantee the range is 85-115, maybe 120.

edit: oops, it is Canada. Don’t know if the salary range scales to 110-160k CAD. Maybe it does.

It is not a remote position.
And yes, you’re wrong about “320,000$/yr”. :wink:

There will be 1-2 people in a team who will report to this position and do delegated tasks
