Anyone know what controls the Forward column in JobHead?
I’ve set everything to backward schedule, but this field keeps on turning to TRUE. I even ran an update query ( 
) to change it to FALSE and it keeps changing back. The Site setting is Backward Scheduling.
From the system help:
It is updated by Calculate Global Scheduling Order process, it indicates if a job has to be scheduled Backwards or Forwards by Global Scheduling Process and it can be modified by Adjust Scheduling Global Order
Thanks @Ernie , I had seen that too. But it only changes it for that specific run. Something keeps flipping it back to forward scheduling and our default scheduling direction is backwards.
What priority is this job set to?
In your scheduling priority maintenance, is that priority set to schedule backwards?
Most of our jobs are set to schedule backwards but we do have one priority where we want it to schedule forward:
