I’m enrolled in the Windows Insider program and installed the update this afternoon. I haven’t done any official timed tests, but loading times feel much more reasonable as a gut feel. I’m still seeing the lag when dragging windows around, but I’m not sure if that was considered part of this fix.
The window dragging lag remains for us
We installed the Hotfix and Group Policy setting. It made huge difference in performance, especially loading screens and Copy to Excel functionality. It took a lot to get Support to release the information to us, but it worked in the end.
We had been chasing performance issues for about a month or so.
