Kinetic Grid Editable fields highlighting

What, if anything, have others done in the Kinetic UI grids that have editable fields to highlight/make those fields immediately obvious to users?

In the Classic UI, editable grid fields are white, while everything else is grayed out, but in the Kinetic UI, you have to click on a row before it becomes obvious what fields you can actually update in the grid.

Obviously, I could create row rules to set these columns as highlighted, but was wondering if there’s something better that anyone has done to “highlight” these fields so that users not only know there are fields that can be updated, but immediately see which ones they are?

@d_inman Did you ever come up with a good solution for this?

I’ve just been creating a data rule to set the updateable fields to “Highlight” which shows them as blue.

Seemed even more necessary in 2024.1 as it looks even less obvious in this version than I remember it being on 2023.1 which fields are updateable.
