Labor Entries Blank Title 68618

We are on 6.1 and occasionally have the same problem. We have never
determined what combination of circumstance generates these entries.
I was unaware of the existence of the conversion program(s), so thanks for
the pointer.

It's probably of no comfort to Frances but previously the only way I could
find around the problem was to
1.Use ODBC to extract the faulty LaborHed and LaborDtl records
2.Reset the ActiveTrans field in both files
3.Use the Conversion Tool to update.

A bit messy but it works.....but obviously is dependant upon having the
Conversion Tool available!

How are you viewing these 'blank' records? (ODBC SQL query? BAQ? A v6.1 program?)

Are they truly blank (no employee ID, no record creation date)?

Have you tried (on a COPY of your live db) simply deleting the blank records via odbc?

I fired 6.1 up last night and found that the end activity program was
included in 6.10.535.



I'm not sure what to tell you. I think support has you over a barrel on
this one.

I believe I also have that conversion and we are on 6.10.540. In the
conversion list they are numbers 7428 and 7429. It does not say endact.r on
my listing.
