We spend five hours a week adjusting labor hours that don't calculate properly. We have three shifts, around 150 clock people, and 6 clocks. We don't split operations. We are on 3.0.632.

Subject: [Vantage] Labor Hours Mystery
Okay everyone this is the story.
We have had 3 cases over the last month were the labor hours and total labor
hours were not right. Our night shift comes in at 10:00 pm and leaves at
7:30 am. The clock in and clock out times show it the Labor Entry
correctly. But in the Detail review or any reports the Labor hours for the
operation and the Total labor hours for the shift are not correct. They
will be close to half of the amount of time they are suppose to be. The
time is always less then it should be. This includes direct labor and
indirect labor.
It always happens to night shift, never to day shift, and never all the
time. It never happens on the same day ( 2 on Sun/Mon and 1 on Tues/Weds).
Support has had us look at the Shift Master Maint. - it's okay, we are
using split burden - but it happens on indirect labor and direct labor. It
doesn't happen to all operations of one user, it can be just some of them
for multiple people. It is not always everyone on night shift, some of them
are wrong some are okay.
Is anyone else seeing this???? Any ideas???
Thanks
Nancy
