Launch Project Entry from Quote Entry

When I am creating a new quote I would like to give the user the option to create a new project if it's necessary. I have added a button that launches the project entry form. What I would like to accomplish from here is after the new project has been created and saved, the project ID is transferred to the project ID textbox on the Line for Quote Entry. I am not sure if this is even possible? Any insight would be very appreciated. I am running Epicor 9.05.605, Progress DB.
