Maintenance plan processor, generates job, but does not change next execution date

Hello,

I did a few tests with my equipment and the plan processor. I decided to put the original date it was set as november 22nd 2021.
The processor ran at 5am, and a new job was generated this morning.
But looking at the next execute date, I was expecting the date to be changed to today of 2023, or at least 1 year after of the original as 2022-11-22

But it stayed the original…

What can cause this ? Is it because it was in the past?

It has been a couple of years since I was elbow deep in the Maintenance Module, but I believe it is because the job is still open. I think it was the job closing that changed the next date.

You are right! As soon as I closed the current one, the date changed on the plan.
