Making changes in bulk

You could always just do it using a BPM as long as you are not deleting or adding records. Use the update method of an unused UD table and put your code in. Then just create a single record and save.

You can also request the license for 8.03 from your CAM at no additional cost.Â
I got mine.

Â
I don't know if you ever said what version you're on, but by one of the
versions (it may be 9.04), you no longer need the license - it's bundled
with the software.

What I've done for one time programs, which I find a lot easier than
compiling programs, etc, is I have a checkbox on the Company form, and I
have a BPM that triggers when the checkbox changes and it's being run by me.
Then, I simply insert my code in the advanced, 4GL section, open company
maint and click the box.

Thanks! That's what I needed.

I got a quote back from my CAM for $3600 + $720 maintenance for OpenEdge
Architect (for OpenEdge 10.2a). Any idea how that differs from the Dev
license?
