Manager/Manager

I wouldn't suggest deleting the manager account but I would change its password. We use that account for MRP etc. to ensure the log files go to a fixed login. We then have a Windows task that moves those files to a common area for users to look at.

Has anyone had issues with their Manager/Manager login not working after a period of time? We just started to upgrade to 409 a few weeks ago. Been in/out of the 409 daily until Wednesday and now today unable to log in using Manager/Manager. Nobody at the company has changed the password as there are only 3 people who know about it at this point. Last successful login was Wednesday late morning.
Are you able to log on as another Vantage Admin user and refresh the
Manager password? If so make sure the new password is longer then 7
characters. We've had issues with that in the past.

Easiest thing to do, Connect with full permission via ODBC through something
like Access.

Browse to the UserFile table, and then blank out the Password field for the
Manager User.

Close out of Access and then try to login with the Manager username, it should
ask you to create a new password as if you had just expired and cleared the
users password through the User Management screen in Epicor.

Quick, Dirty, probably the least recommended by Epicor but it's them most
effective way I've found.
