Manual copying of DLL and XML files for MES

Hi
I find that if we create a Dashboard and turn it into a Dashboard assembly and then make a menu item for this. Then put a link on the MES screen, it doesn’t always copy over for all users (it does for some). When some users try and access the MES menu item, their MES session hangs. We have to either manually clear the C:\ProgramData\Epicor folder and if that doesn’t work we have to find a user who has got access to the DLL and XML files in the C:\ProgramData\Epicor<server-name>\3.1.600.0<company-name>\Customization folder and CustomDlls folder and copy them over manually into the same positions in the C:\Program Data\ folder on the problem user’s system.
I’m sure we shouldn’t have to do this but I can’t figure out what we are doing wrong. Because this is a customization, I can’t get help from Epicor support on this.

Have you set proper permissions on that folder?

Thanks Jason, The permissions for C:\Program Data are just the standard ones that Windows gives. I will change the permissions for the Users group to be able to Modify and see if that helps…

hmmm… that doesn’t seem to have made a difference. I should also probably mention that the users that are most effected are all running RDP sessions on a 2008R2 server.
