Hi,

You may want to look at sharepoint for basic revision control etc.

Our higher level work instructions for process flows etc...that we maintain for ISO....are all done in Word with hyperlinks to related documents. The free Wordviewer has worked out a lot easier and faster than linked PDF files. These define processes, procedures and checklists common to any job or task and reference specific places to look on Travellers, Vantage screen doc links or other documents for specific part related info. Links to the top level document can be put into Vantage Favorites bars or as desktop shortcuts for the Data Collection (MES) PCs. Simple, cheap and effective.
